The interior and selection are excellent, and the staff is super nice. My Dad grew up there so I have a soft spot for the area, but it also houses some amazing Italian food. For a cheap but absolutely amazing lunch, I would go to Umberto&#39;s on Hanover St. The best pizza and rice balls you will ever eat. Their sticky buns are so so good. That&#39;s where a lot of Bostonians walk to with their dogs on weekends :)<br /><br />The South End is a great place to walk around and discover! Washington Street and Tremont are the main streets you should walk around. I live right by there so let me know if you need any help with anything!! It&#39;s a giant warehouse full of consignment and vintage clothing. The first floor houses a &quot;dollar a pound room&quot; (1.50 a pound now i think)where you swim around in old clothing to find some gems. The prices at this place cannot be beat. Also my favorite vintage store and hidden gem is Cafe Society in Brookline. You will find dresses there from the 20s, 30s, 40s 50s for under 60 dollars... Vintage hunting in Boston compared to NYC is so much less expensive.
