sundays at the brooklyn flea

One of the best ways to spend a beautiful Sunday afternoon is at the Brooklyn Flea in Williamsburg. I like this flea even more now that they hold it at this location on Sundays because the view is so great. I ended up buying mini antlers that are now hanging on my white brick wall but to be honest I think the star attraction at this place is the food. They have so many amazing independent food vendors - make sure to go on an empty stomach!







These donuts made by DOUGH especially caught my eye. They were really big - the size and width of a healthy sized bagel. I guess size sometimes does really matter ;)

oh Nicky's sandwiches, how I love thee.. let me count the ways.

the bread on your sandwiches is so crispy and crunchy, I honestly don't know how you do it

the meat is so juicy, tender, and flavorful

the vegetables inside are perfectly pickled

you offer a whole wheat bread and tofu option (fit for all food lovers!)

sandwiches here are only $5 that will fill you up. $5 for a good meal in Manhattan, pretty hard to come by

Coming off of a wonderfully real and perfect four day weekend. The past few months, I've come to realize how often we don't appreciate the beautiful things we have to be thankful for in our day to day lives until they get taken away. Guilty as charged. Slowly regaining some of these forgotten privileges and working towards finding more ways to be well-rounded this summer. Looking forward to sunny days this summer.
