a few of the many things I look forward to on the weekends - waking up to sunglight peeking through my window, 11am spin class, early afternoon stops at Juicy Lucy for an iced coffee and rio bowl, reading a book at the dog park while watching Meeko play with other dogs.

Looking at the 10 day weather forecast today and seeing steady numbers in the 70s for the first time in what seem months here in the city.. I think it's finally time to say farewell to cold dreary Winter - it's been a miserably snowy one this year. see ya in December.

It seems that these days, everyone is on a studding rampage (myself included). It's hard to find something new and original to stud since everything and their mom has already been studded. So since I've already studded pretty much everything I own, how bout studding everything and my pom?

I started by going down the back following the natural line of the vertebrae.

Just keep going in a straight line.

Then I moved on to his head -- I found it's easiest when he was laying down flat like so.

snow day

It snowed in New York today. A LOT. Too bad I don't have class on Mondays because apparently, school was cancelled and that's the first time that has happened to me since sophmore year in highschool. Just. My. Luck.

I know that a lot of people who live in warmer climates where they don't get snow, would LIKE to experience snow and think it's all romantic and wonderful like that scene in Love Story, but let me burst your bubble -- snow sucks. It's pretty at first but then you have to trek around in it and it starts to turn grey and slushy from all the dirt... plus it messes up your shoes BIG time. True shoe lovers do not love snow. Spent most of the day huddled away next to the heater but went up to my roof for a snow fight with the bf and Meeko. Hot Chocolate immediately upon return :)
