pictures from an outing to the brooklyn museum to see the ai weiwei, "according to what?" exhibit. other highlights included the beautiful other worldly submerged motherlands installation that made me feel like i had stepped into part of tolkien's lothlorien forest. childhood dream to walk amongst the elven almost realized!

new york was in the mid 50s today. (insert sound of glorious cheer and yippee ki yays reverberating through the city streets). decided to take full advantage and ventured out to the scope art fair - where we ended up walking around playing my favorite game "if i won the lottery i would buy..."

christopher wool on a sunday

sunday at the museum: taking in an extensive christopher wool exhibition and let's face it, once again marveling at the architectural stunner that is the frank lloyd wright designed guggenheim museum. this might be one of my favorite exhibits viewed here yet because it gave me a chance to experience the actual physical space in a completely new way. the gentle progression upwards was almost as enjoyable as rewinding back down, revisiting each work again quickly at a gravity enforced accelerated pace.
