parsnip and pecorino soup
nothing like sitting down to a three course lunch on a thursday to make the most of my last few days of being on holiday. there's no other place i'd rather do it than at a place like m. wells dinette where everything i ate was just so damn good. not shown are also the two bloody marys that somehow tasted a little bit like barbecue sauce in the best possible way and a simple plate of great crusty bread served with fluffy sea salt flaked butter. that beef tartare with that perfectly soft-boiled egg and beef wellington sitting in a syrupy balsamic reduction though... really tastes as good as it looks.
