bryant park

I spent the early part of the day huddled inside my apartment seeing as how the weather in Manhattan was unbearably cold. Trying to find something to wear reaches levels of near impossibility because you are either going to be a.) cold or b.) a puffy snowman.

I braved it though to go on a walk with the bf and we found ourselves at the steps of Bryant Park and I couldn't help but explore the tents that are being put up for Fashion Week. Oh how unglamorous it looks now... just in a short while though, these steps will be abuzz with street style photographers and paparazzi galore, all waiting to snap photos of the famous fashion set. Even though I hate NY when it gets this cold, being able to see these things up close and personal before the crowds hit makes me love living only a short walk away.

the beautiful Bryant Park Hotel

what it looks like before the madness hits

what I'm wearing:
Andrew Marc Coat, Doo.Ri Dress, See By Chloe Leather Vest, Club Monaco Gloves,
Vera Wang Over the Knee Boots, Chanel bag

We walked across the street to go read magazines at the best bookstore ever, Kinokuniya.
I could spend hours there engrossed in magazines that I can't even read. Damn language barriers...

Not allowed to snap photos in here but we were able to snap one quickie of me reading Vogue Nippon.
