will you be mine (1)

For lunch on Valentine's day, we went to one of my favorite spots in New York City, the Time Warner Center, and ate at Bouchon Bakery. It's an amazing bakery/café owned by renowned chef and restaurateur Thomas Keller. They have the stickiest sticky buns around as well as my personal favorite, french macarons. None of the coconut crap. The real deal :D

Macarons - cute as can be, ready to be gobbled up. rawr! They were out of my favorite, vanilla bean, so we got hazelnut and chocolate. Hazelnut was bla but the chocolate tasted amazing paired with Illy coffee. Sorry Starbies, Illy owns you.

We stopped by Williams-Sonoma to admire their insanely over-priced but still beautiful home+kitchen wares. I spotted this cute acorn "twine holder". Who needs a wooden acorn to store their kitchen twine?? Apparently people who shop at Williams-Sonoma... lol. I have two lovely ladies in my life who have a thing for acorns so I thought I'd snap a photo papz style :D

Outside Time Warner Center, we stopped to take photos at the fountain before walking around in Central Park and were harassed by bicycle taxis + evil cult people passing out their propaganda along with "free granola bars". NO I would not like a free granola bar along with your cult papers. THANKS.

Sigh... one day... I will own an apartment alongside Central Park. A girl can dream...
